Gefengtai is one of the important scenic spots in Pei county and one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Pei. In 196 BC, Liu Bang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty, calmed down the rebellious king yingbu of Huainan, and returned to his hometown. He set up a wine palace and invited his hometown elders to have a feast. He talked about the old days with wine, and was filled with emotion. The wine was drunk. The founding emperor and cloth hero of the Han Dynasty sang: "when the wind rises, the clouds are flying. When the Weijia sea comes back to his hometown, the brave men are safe to guard the four sides!" In February 1982, the people's Government of Jiangsu Province announced gefengtai and Dafeng Gebei as provincial key protected cultural relics. Gefengtai was originally located in the southeast of Guxian county. After many vicissitudes, it has been moved and built repeatedly. Today's gefengtai, with a building area of 12600 square meters and a total building height of 26.8 meters, is the commanding height of Seoul's architectural complex. It is magnificent and can be called the first of its kind in the country.
